Day 14 Tapachula -> Lake Atitlán, Guatemala

Another hearty breakfast. In Tapachula. Readying for the border experience.

Bank closed at the border crossing we chose; so couldn't get deposit back on the truck's temp. permit. Had to drive 45 more mins to another crossing. Crazy scene w "help for $$".

At the next border crossing, Elie appeared like magic to help us through every step of the paperwork. His great grandparents were from Israel. A smooth (honest) operator. Amazing.

Trippy buses. Looking for more to shoot. They scream by like they've driven the roads forever (they have). Near Quetzaltenango.

Our trusty Google Maps. Guided us on today's journey from sea level to 10,000' and 93 degrees to 54. Windiest roads evah.

Driving in Guatemala is like driving in a video game. Intense focus required (and given). Tired tonight.

Precise agricultural practices. Plots laid out like in Japan. This scene near Sololá, Guatemala.
